Exactly NOBODIES right to free speech is being censored here dude. That's my problem with you guys. I can read just fine. The first guy literally told the author he can fuck off than a person replied to that telling them that they can fuck off themselves if they don't like it and than you came in with your screed saying the second person is infringing the rights of the first person. See your argument is severely flawed. Know why? Because free speech, like all liberties, has limits. When you start spreading hate and telling people to fuck off that's when your right to free speech ends. On the other hand the people that made this game are being inclusive and not hurting anyone so...yeah, think about that for a change

And the limit was broken at lightning speed as soon as more than 2 genders started to exist.
EDIT: And I don't talk about being gay cause I'm totally fine with it.
Such an option should exist more in games.
I'm also not against that suddenly some franchises changed the lead into a female.
But more than 2 genders?
I can't even imagine how the char creation screen would look like.
Switching between male and female is visually vastly different... but anything in between?
How does a game want portrait something like that?

Wtf, it is as easy as allowing every choice of cosmetics and choices, both present to male and female. And changing all the he's or she's to maybe they(?). But it is really not that impossible. If you don't like it doesn't mean that it can't be made. Don't be such a snowflake and stop being that butthurt over simple things like this man.

I never said it's about this game... I don't even think such a game has a char editor (except maybe being called "he" or "she").

Yeah the quality of these games has been questionable over the last months, most feel like an amateurs fanfiction. Many authors seem to forget that it's not them doing the customer a favor by allowing them to play a story they would like but that the customers reward a good job by buying the games. I never buy any of these games before playing it once, anymore, because they suck so often.
If you haven't played it yet Breach: The Archangel Job & War for the West (as well as Magician's Workshop, to some extent) have been exclusions from the rule of "new CYOA Games suck" rule. :)

Point of these games is to allow the player to make any character they want, i think you are a bit unfair. Also, since almost each and every of these games does it, it might be something the authors are obliged to do. You are of course free to ignore these games based on your criticism of the "woke" stuff but i would suggest giving them a chance, many of them don't shove those things down your throat and are really enjoyable.
Those who are primarily political bragging from self-proclaimed progressives tend to fail completely because the player base favors a good story over being lectured by self-righteous douchebags.

Of course, and as a male, I also prefer to play as a female char (since a very neat Anime with an awesome female char).
But how the f*ck do you play as a non-binary?
I really REALLY wanna see something like this portrayed in a char editor.
Or do some text-heavy games get a line like: "Don't mind my wiener. I'm a girl."
