Railroad Tycoon 3 features 25 scenarios challenging players to recreate magnificent feats of railroading history from around the world. Players can lay track (including tunnels and overpasses), pick from over 40 locomotives from early steams to modern bullets, choose to haul over 35 types of cargo in a dynamic economy, and participate in an advanced stock market.

The new 3-D engine takes the franchise to the next level, allowing smooth scaling from an ‘eye in the sky’ view of an entire continent down to super detailed close-up of a beautifully modeled train, building, or just the landscape.

Alright so it's now updated to GOG v2.0.0.6 (v1.05 basically). I recommend updating to v1.06 (unofficial community patch) and looking up more maps online.

The installation process is less than ideal. It's basically a 1.00 version (no Coast to Coast expansion either) which means you have to find and install patches up to v1.06 but the crack is for v1.00 here sooo... listen to my advice, find a GOG version 2.0.0.6 and install it with a single click instead.

Right, I've tried mounting disc one and installing it (that worked. Installed okay.) Disc two, I go to play, it tells me Wrong Disc. So I mount disc one again. It tells me that I need to mount disc 2, that I've got the wrong one. Go back to the other disc, it gives me the same error message Wrong Disc.
I've tried converting the BIN files into ISOs and extracting them, but no such luck.
What do I do?

If there's an explicit stop at towers/maintenances in their routes, trains will fill up there no matter what their % is. The auto stop only kicks in at 49% and less.
Diesel and Electric trains use towers much less often than Steam.
Explicit stops are mostly maintenance stops because of the interface. Stopping at a tower a long way before climbing is much better than putting in the middle of a long straight.
Industry First (dairy farms first, >=30% APR at first) Railway is more like 10% (usually) or 15% (sometimes). Do not grab industries under 10% APR.
Unpurchased mines will be deleted from the map. Many mines run on $1 iron or coal, buy them to secure your supply.

Hey, i have a problem, i can install it, but when i want to play it, it says wrong disk, even if i have mounted disk one... and it doesnt aks for disk 2 while installing, can anybody help me?

There is no .exe file. All i have is a .bin and .cue file...

Guessing you both figured out you need daemon tools to mount the cd image file and install the game. But for anyone else new to it.

Try this wrapper lib if your comp is running on any Win newer than Windows XP. http://dege.freeweb.hu/
The old code doesn't get along well with the newer DirectX and the game will crash or cause a thermal shutdown if you have "Hardware T&L" on. But if it's turned off, the CPU will have to bear the load.
Get the 2.53 version, copy with overwrite all those file from the MS folder into the folder with the game binary. Done. (Btw you can tune stuff with the exe file in the rar)
BTW, if you do everything right you'll see "3dgfxVoodoo" on the lower right corner. Have fun!
(and the sys req... it's old :D)
Fixes:

T&L rendering option (hardware) won't crash now.
Emulating low VRAM fixes the texture bug.
Small problems:
To take a screenshot with this, press Alt+PrtSc. PrtSc is captured by the game and will not work. All 3 problems didn't show up in the older version of voodoo.
The v2.54 is not working as expected regarding alt-tabbing.
Glitchy mouse pointer.
Ugly stuff:
High interest in recession times and low interest in booming times.
