Btw its not Armageddon or?! As I searched for that and got here... HoI 2 is IMHO the best (part 3 already to complex IMHO, but still playable, part 4... if you want to do, what I always do because the A.I.'s are still eggheads you can forget it, and doing EVERYTHING alone is for me too much in part 4... however I guess there are packs? Like the old Anthology pack, HoI (1), HoI 2 + HoI 2 Doomsday (standalone?!), released in 2007 or so... scenario sucks and as released its unplayable as ressource ran out for all these strange countries,
but some other new things are cool and more than worth to play the usual scenario with a ending date you can easy "manipulate" in HoI 2 already I guess... these options like "take over full IC, overtake teams, imagine you get the Nazi-German Tech Teams in late 30's or I think even better after Generals/Field Marshalls become the best guys for some tactical reason... because you know some of these persons do not appear (in Armageddon at least) before the date of: A good example here is Rommel and someone else from the Navy, in the German version the pics of all the "evil" bada*ss nazis like Göring are missing, these ultra-small picture in the menu where you select your ministers...
I'm not sure but it could be even possible that in the original unpatched version the names are "Hiller" and some others are wrong, but Rommel gets available in 1939 as the lowest rank (as we know always only Generals are showed, he starts as what would be 1-star general in US, Brigadier General, just there its mixed with I know an Generalleutnant is the lowest followed by Generalmajor, I think even it is the other way around even though a major is much higher than the lowest Leutnant rank...but can be higher as Lieutenant Colonel...Oberstleutnant.
However its a nerd game I saw my cousin playing in Poland and I played attacking with Germany Poland already by 1936 :D I thought, how could Germany lose against Poland in any scenario? By 1936 the troops were already marching again and the Saarland which was a DMZ, "Hiller" ;) did not care and did send some troops on a parade-like march to the baracks their...I think this is even the first event you should do as playing Germany :) Immediately, best you use this crappy light tanks I always destroy than, useless waste of oil and supply, but now I see that this might be an error, for this I love the game =)
Maybe I simply buy it as it runs with smaller problems sometimes when you go to win and back to the game, but it should run on the Ryzen 7 2700X/GTX 1070 as I already had GDDR-5 VRAM in my 2010 PC, and in that one a i3-540 (1. generation i-Core, 2 cores, 4 threads, 64-bit... the bit are the only important thing for the question if a game runs or not or?! A weak 4th part... I don't know if HoI 5 will come as the most people were rating it quite bad like me on fan sites, I mean there is a own wikipedia with guides etc how even to win the German 1944 scenario without large skills if you follow this pro-gamer who made it on the highest difficulty...

can you force the wizard to use more than 3% of the cpu when installing? I am currently able to count the image files when they are appearing. now they are at 24.200 and rising

no one needed, but the links (almost all are deleted, pls put them again in, I only need the German Armageddon + German.txt for the Description of the new content which, as every non-english player, knows stays empty of ir English (depents on the version the uploader used I think?!).
A German Text file and I always made it in the config file to "4" (4 = German), and it was working everything german, the Descriptions which had not existed for the very bugged 1.0 Armageddon Scenario (with shared USA, shared Germany, shares UK/Soviets and so on....
nobody has start reserves for full use longer than ~10 days even on easy, depends what country you took, on very easy some things are produced heavily thx to the bonus, and you can produce some supply and sell it against rare material, energy etc...
and research your only 10% energy to oil standard start (I prefer 1936 start), to 110% + 10% IC in the (early-)mid 40's or ~7-9 years after new starts, you know germany lost both wars at the end because of the huge fuel shortages... lucky for us Hitler was an Idiot =)
